Estonia

I know a kid, that I went to high school with, who currently lives in Estonia. I never knew that it existed. I had heard it form a movie once but I thought it was a big joke. That is a really old movie anyway I must have been about ten years old when it came out.

Anyway, about my friend that is over there. His name is Matthew. The very first day he flew into Estonia the country suffered a horrible earthquake. I thought it was nice of karma to work out that way because I really didn't like that kid very much.

Greenland

Well one time I flew over Greenland and thought to myself 'why is Greenland all ice?' it just seemed weird that it wasn't named Iceland. I took a few pictures it look pretty cool. Just a bunch of fingers stretching out into the Atlantic Ocean. It was really interesting looking. I wonder what I did with those photos. I will have to look on my other computer to see if I can find them and post some up here. I would really like to learn more about Iceland because I don't know much about it.

Columbia

Colombia is the third-most populous country in Latin America, after Brazil and Mexico. The ethnic diversity in Colombia is a result of the intermingling of indigenous Indians, Spanish colonists, and African slaves. In Columbia they have vibrant cities, elegant port towns cut by cobbled alleys and bougainvillea-shrouded balconies, spectacular national parks from tropical to heavenly-high-alpine, cruise boats, party buses, late-night salsa dancing and glorious shopping. Sounds like a very fun trip to me!

Natural attractions include rippling mountains, expanses of the Amazon Basin, large lakes, vast plains and a Caribbean coastline that twinkles with azure water. Meanwhile man-made wonders include lost cities, fabulous pre-Columbian sculpture and colourful colonial houses adorn the towns.

I mentioned before how I went to Peru last summer. I traveled with The Southern Cross Humanitarian. The organization just so happened to expand to Columbia. I think it would be so awesome if I went again through Southern Cross to Colombia!

Canada

Canadian eh?

Canada is divided into provinces and territories. I would like to visit British Columbia because it is beautiful and culturally diverse province. Located on Canada's West Coast, between the Pacific Ocean and the Rocky Mountains. I hope to enjoy spectacular scenery.

With spectacular natural beauty, a healthy environment, cultural diversity, lively communities and a strong economy, British Columbia has something to offer just about everyone who would like to travel there. I hope to understand the Canadian lifestyle, people, province, and history when I travel there. I have a handful of friends that are from Canada. They are diverse but interesting people and I love to hear about all the fun places to visit if I travel there.

My boyfriend came home this week and so we are planing to take a trip there this spring when it warms up a bit. It should be interesting and fun to go backpacking there and enjoy the culture that Canada has to offer.

Where to next?

Well today I got a letter in the mail from Delta Skymiles. It says that I have a balance of 17,374 expiring mileage. I must use the miles or they will go to waste. The only problem is...where should I go? Well and one more small problem, where can I go on 17,374 miles? I was thinking that I might take a nice beach trip to Hawaii. Or maybe a city trip to D.C. I just don't know.

India

The mountain tip to its steamy south, India has enough sights and experiences to fill several of my lifetimes. India has an extremely vibrant history and frantic cities. Icons like the Taj Mahal, deep-breath beaches and a vivid layering of cultures are just the start.

India is one of the most intricate and rewarding dramas unfolding on earth, and I've developed an abiding passion for it, and the countries diversity. Nothing is ever quite predictable; the only thing to expect is the unexpected, which comes in many forms and will always want to sit next to you.

The only thing that I found wrong with visiting India is the monsoon season (May to October is the optimum period). Around October the monsoon ends for most of the country. It's too late to visit Ladakh During October and November it's generally not too hot and not too cool (although October can still be hot and/or humid in some regions). In the thick of winter (around mid-December to mid-January), Delhi and other northern cities can become freezing cold, especially at night (like Utah in the winter).

New York

New York is home to some of the most famous dance companies in the world and with national and international companies making regular stops here on their tours, I expect to enjoy a wide variety of dance classes and performances if I make a trip here. Not only will I want to have the classes I want to visit as many Broadway plays as I possibly can! Top five Broadway shows that I want to see:
  1. Wicked

  2. The Lion King

  3. Chicago

  4. The Phantom of the Opera

  5. A Tale of Two Cities

You can visit this link to see other plays on Broadway.

Mexico

VIVA LA MEXICO!
Hola! Hablo Espanol!

Oh the joy that a quick trip across the boarder is! I love Mexico! Especially along the coast where you can chill out on the beach and get crazy braids in your hair and cheap sunglasses! Mexico has to be one of my favorite places to vacation. My parents have time share down there so occasionally we take a trip there.

The last time I was there was probably two years ago and it was only for a few days. I haven't been able to get there since because of school or conflicting time share schedules.
One of my favorite things to do while I am in Mexico is shop. I am a big time barterer. I use to feel really bad about it, but then I realized that I'm not rich personally. Plus I tend to forget things everywhere I go. One time I bought a really awesome necklace and then close to two hours later I had completely forgotten where I put the dang thing! True story, I always loose things.

I also love going down there and playing soccer. I suck at soccer compared to the little kids but it is still very fun to bring a few soccer balls to play with. I always let them keep the balls too because they always win them off me!
